She has three sons and one daughter. My husband confronted her two years ago and defended me to her when his sister became upset over a situation (his sister gets upset alot about me). A year ago another situation with his sister arose and this time I …Join DIL Society to read more »

When I first met my FMIL we had an unusual relationship. She wasn't quite ready to let go of her little boy so she would hang out with us all the time. She would go to parties and hang out at bars with us all the time, which was fine at first, kind of neat actually, my mother would never do anything like that! Soon it started to become ridiculous she was hanging out with people …Join DIL Society to read more »

I have been married for 20 years. My hb is middle eastern and I am not. My m.i.l. is very controlling of everyone and her kids never question her, not even her husband. She has been staying with us for months now visiting and is getting under my skin! I don't want to come home and am taking it out on my husband. He cannot say anything to her or disrespect her. She asks my dailly …Join DIL Society to read more »

Ok this may seem a little mild compared to some of the stories I have read on here. But anyway here goes. I am 19 and have been with my partner for 3 and half years. We are engaged to be married. We don't live together but I spend most of my time at his house, where the MIL to be constantly interferes. We cannot spend a quiet night together without her knocking on the bedroom …Join DIL Society to read more »

I AM 27 YEARS OLD AND MY HUSBAND'S MOTHER AND BROTHER HAS BEEN LIVING WITH US FOR A YEAR BECAUSE SHE GOT EVICTED. I HAVEN'T SAID TOO MUCH ABOUT SOME OF THE THINGS THAT SHE IS DOING BECAUSE I TRIED TO MAKE IT A HOME FOR HER. I LET HER AND HER SON SLEEP IN MY OLDEST SON'S ROOM BUT IT IS NOT MY SONS ROOM ANYMORE. ALL THE SPORTS THEMES ARE NOW PINK AND FLORAL. …Join DIL Society to read more »
